Website Design and Build

Ashley and Aaron are long-time friends with a marriage planned in 2007. I was asked to help with their wedding web site, in order to be be more personal and different than the theknot.com, theweddingchannel.com, or typical wedding web sites.

The initial design scheme was actually created an Illustrator file by a friend of Ashley's (a print designer), under my guidance to translate the idea to the web. We took into consideration the dimensions of the page, expanding layout issues due to the massive amount of content the couple had, and for software packages for their gallery, journal and guestbook.

After consulting, I received the original files and altered them in Illustrator and Photoshop to solve the design issues presented, and then did the complete build and implementation of the site. The final goal was going over how they could continue the site, not only up until the wedding, but as a journal of their lives together.
