My version of a poster for the film

The Agent
Film
September 2002
The synopsis as written by me:
All is not what is what it seems to be. Just ask Agent Russo.
Follow Agent Russo of the FBI as he sets out to protect his good friend and partner, Rich, during a routine sting operation. Russo is told that Rich has evidence that could put away Vasquez and a drug cartel, but Rich has been found, and his life is in danger. As Russo and two fellow agents attempt to intercept Rich’s pursuers, Russo discovers that this operation is headed for disaster. Rich continues to fight off his masked adversaries with quick reflexes and lethal hits, while Russo tries to make sense of the twisted trail left behind. Will Russo figure out the truth in time? Or are he and his team already in over their heads?
My role in the film was assisting in the story and plot, assistant directing and script managing at shoots I was able to attend, and work on posters.
The film has been submitted to festivals, and won Best of Show - Narrative Short (Low Budget) and the Putnam Valley Film and Video Festival. The trailer is viewable through the VTVIDEOS web site. My 2002 portfolio created during the fall. After realizing that my work has been spread over too many sites that contain inconsistent screenshots and text, I decided to finally create an easily updated portfolio that is kept in a database.
The site is run by a 1 page template and uses PHP and MySQL. Each project has certain attributes, and to reduce the repetition of listing tools, I have mapped it all out (ie: project 1 uses tools 1, 3, 4, which in another table, has tool 1 = photoshop, etc.). Even the javascript menu is written on the fly. In this manner, I can update the layout of the site and navigation without dealing with multiple pages.
This portfolio is set to showcase my better work for prospective employers; however, I also use this site as a personal log. I have written a PHP script and modified the database so that I can activate projects and/or entire categories that I wish to showcase or hide with a click of a button.
